India face Pakistan today in their 3rd match of the Asian Champions Cup Hockey Tournament.

India drew with South Korea in the first match and beat Bangladesh 9-0 in the second. Pakistan drew with Japan in their first match.

Harmanpreet Singh scored from the penalty corner to help take the lead. The Indian team took a 1-0 lead in the first half. After this Akashdeep Singh scored a goal. Next, in the 45th minute, Mansoor of Pakistan scored a goal to create a stir in the match. However, the Indian team played better in today’s match, 7 minutes before the end of the game, another goal in the penalty corner to beat Pakistan 3-1.

Out of the 3 penalty corners scored today, the Indian team, with the help of Harmanpreet Singh, scored 2 goals. Pakistan wasted 2 penalty corners. With this victory, the Indian team’s chances of qualifying for the semi-finals have increased. India are top of the points table with 7 points from 3 matches.
