The Eccles Theater will host a diverse range of shows, from “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” to a new musical adaptation of “The Great Gatsby.”

“Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,” an effects-laden stage play continuing the story of J.K. Rowling’s beloved series, will launch the season, playing September 19 through October 11, 2026. The play follows Albus Potter, son of Harry, as he navigates Hogwarts and forges a friendship with Scorpius Malfoy, son of Draco Malfoy.

Here’s a look at the complete schedule:
Nov. 10-15 • “The Outsiders,” the Tony-winning musical based on S.E. Hinton’s classic young-adult novel (and the iconic Francis Ford Coppola film), follows Ponyboy Curtis and his friend Johnny Cade as they navigate the rivalry between the Greasers and the Socs.

Dec. 8-19 • “Disney’s ‘Beauty and the Beast,’” the timeless “tale as old as time,” is embarking on its first North American tour in 25 years.

Jan. 10-15, 2027 • “Beetlejuice,” the musical adaptation of Tim Burton’s quirky comedy about the “ghost with the most,” is returning for another engagement. (“Beetlejuice” is an add-on to the regular season.)

Jan. 26-31, 2027 • “Buena Vista Social Club,” inspired by the Grammy-winning album and documentary, tells the story of the musicians who created “the real sound of Havana.”

March 2-7, 2027 • “Operation Mincemeat: A New Musical,” depicts a daring spy mission from 1943, conceived in part by Ian Fleming (the creator of James Bond), to deceive the Nazis using a stolen corpse.

April 27-May 2, 2027 • “Maybe Happy Ending,” last year’s Tony winner for best musical, explores a romance between two humanoid robots—or a simulation of one—in a futuristic Seoul.

May 12-16, 2027 • “Six,” a pop concert-style musical, features the six wives of King Henry VIII as they share their stories.

June 15-20, 2027 • “The Sound of Music,” the beloved Rodgers & Hammerstein musical, tells the story of a novice nun who becomes a governess to the Von Trapp children in 1930s Austria.

July 27-Aug. 1, 2027 • “The Great Gatsby,” a jazz-infused musical adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel, follows the enigmatic Jay Gatsby and his pursuit of the elusive Daisy Buchanan.
Current season subscribers will be automatically renewed for the 2026-2027 season and will have priority access to tickets for “Beetlejuice” and “Six.” New subscriptions can be purchased this spring, and interested patrons can join the waiting list now. Single tickets will be available for purchase at a later date.
