Kuwait City: Drugs were seized from two Asian passengers who arrived at the airport in Kuwait. 55 packets of hashish and 200 larica tablets were found by the Kuwaiti Customs Department officials from the two passengers. Those arrested are from Asian countries. Officials informed that they have been handed over to the concerned departments for legal proceedings.
Last day, an attempt to smuggle ration food items from Kuwait to abroad was foiled. An attempt to take subsidized food items out of the country was detected during an inspection conducted by the Kuwait Customs Department in Sulaibia.

Doha: A passenger who tried to smuggle drugs was arrested at the Hamad International Airport in Qatar. Hashish was recovered from his luggage during customs inspection. More than two kilos of hashish was brought hidden inside the luggage.

He had 2061 grams of drugs in his possession. In a statement released by Qatar Customs, it was announced that the hashish was hidden in a carton box brought by a passenger who was coming to the country. Customs authorities have shared pictures of seized drugs through social media.
