jpnn.comSEMARANG – Head of LKPP RI Hendrar Prihadi has not received any confirmation from PDI Perjuangan regarding his candidacy in the Central Java gubernatorial election (Pilgub Jateng).
The man who is familiarly called Hendi said that his desire to run in the regional head elections or Pilkada in Central Java is still being discussed at the PDI Perjuangan DPP.
“I will finish serving as Head of LKPP in October 2027. I will try to improve Central Java Province. I am just waiting for the party’s recommendation, whether to assign me or not,” he said at the MG Setos Hotel, Semarang, Friday (2/8).
However, he said that he had submitted all decisions issued by Megawati Soekarnoputri as the General Chairperson (Ketum) of the PDI Perjuangan.
Including the emergence of the name of former TNI Commander General (ret.) Andika Perkasa who is also predicted to be a potential candidate for governor of Central Java from the PDI Perjuangan.
“Yes, that’s fine, Mr. Andika, everyone knows that he will be the TNI Commander, I think there is no problem whoever gets the recommendation,” he said.
“I am a party official, so whoever is assigned, me or others or Mr. Andika, of course I will support them, fully support them,” he said again.
However, the former mayor of Semarang stated that he had had intensive discussions with the Chairman of the PDI Perjuangan Central Java, Bambang “Pacul” Wuryanto, regarding his desire to run in the Central Java Pilkada in November.
