Nikos Makropoulos revealed the last phone call he had from Vassilis Karras, before he passed away on Christmas Eve.
The singer was a guest on the “2Night Show” on Wednesday, February 7, and excitedly said about his former partner: “My relationship with Vassilis is well known. We had worked together three times, we had a relationship of love, appreciation and respect. Vassilis knew very well what he had, he called me two months before he passed away and said: little one, I want you to do me a favor, sing a song but put your soul into it. And there he starts crying.”

Nikos Makropoulos continued: “I was shocked, I started crying too. We hung up because we couldn’t talk. Vassilis was generally very emotional, even more so with his illness” and finally, he added:
“I finally wrote the song and sent it to him to listen to. He calls me again and says “Thank you very much, because you put your soul into it.” And she started to cry again and I cried too. That was the last time I spoke to Vassilis.”.
