Although Giorgos Liagas has not yet made a statement about the loss of Faia Skordas’ father, he informed the television audience that he will leave about halfway through the “Breakfast” show.
The journalist and presenter told his colleagues on the morning of Tuesday, January 30: “Gentlemen, will you allow me to leave today? You know that. I leave the course of the show in very good hands. I’ll be back as usual, God first thing tomorrow morning. Be well. Let’s go to commercials, thank you very much” and probably started heading towards Kilkis.
The funeral of his former father-in-law, Dimitris Skordas, is scheduled for today at 15:00 in Stavrochori, Kilkis.

Dimitris Skordas breathed his last, according to information, after a heart attack suffered in his sleep, in the early hours of Monday, January 29. He himself was a radiologist and lived in Kilkis until the end of his life.
Dimitris Skordas had not made many appearances in public, apart from those with his daughter and grandchildren, when he was met by the photographers’ lens.

He was the man who accompanied the presenter to her wedding with Giorgos Liagas and as she had mentioned, she had a weakness for him. That is why she chose to give his name to one of her two sons.
Fai Skordas avoids making general references to the people of her family, however, she had made some communications with her father on social media, writing how much she loves him.
When she was invited to the ERT program “Mama-des”, shortly before her father died, Fai Skorda said about the relationship with her family: “I grew up in Kilkis very nicely, with a lot of love and a big family, with my parents, brother, uncles, grandmother and grandfather. The first person I will make an important decision is my mom but because she gets stressed I take her out of the way».
