Lokesh Kanagaraj’s recently released film ‘Vikram’ has made a lot of waves in the Tamil film industry. The movie was a huge hit which was also taken up by the Malayali fans. Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil and Suriya in Vikram have all been embraced by fans. But Tamil actor Suriya has revealed that he was not interested in playing the role of Rolex in Vikram.
Suriya revealed that he was ready to present Rolex only for Kamal Haasan. Surya said that no matter what you do, no matter what you do in life, Kamal sir will always be his inspiration. When he called and told me about the character, he couldn’t refuse. It was a last minute decision. He was about to shout to Lokesh that he could not do that role. But Surya said that the character was done only for him. Suriya added that time will tell if he will return to the role of Rolex and he will accept the role if it comes to him.
At the Filmfare Awards 2022 South held yesterday, Suriya won the Best Actor Award for his performance in the film Soorarai Potr. While accepting the award, the fans started chanting for Rolex. Meanwhile, when the host of the program asked about the return of Rolex, the actor opened up.

Vikram, the sequel to Lokesh Kanakaraj’s Kaiti, is the highest-grossing film of the year. The film collected 440 crores from all over the world. Suriya appeared in a cameo role in Vikram. Fans have taken over the villain character who reached the last part of the movie.
