A human error
The sexagenarian asked for a “certificate of life” at the town hall of Linas, which he then sent to the CPAM, the Cnav (National Old Age Insurance Fund) and Agirc-Arrco, among others. Unfortunately, the majority of his messages went unanswered. “I may not receive my pension at the beginning of June, because I am considered dead by my pension funds,” he confides.
Alerted to the situation by The Parisian in view of the article, the CPAM finally contacted the victim of this absurd situation. It would seem that a human error is at the origin of the problem: his file was filled out instead of that of his father, who died on March 10.
