MoNisha’s success in life is that she has not lost control of her ring. Smarty, who has handled everything from two-wheelers to tankers, toruses and hazards vehicles, has now reached the Gulf where he has acquired a heavy vehicle license. Nisha became the first woman in Kerala to get a hazard license after Delisha Davis.
Nisha Barkat is the third of the four children of late Abdulhameed and Hafsam of Kiliwalankunn area, Nagalassery. At the age of 14, Nisha’s journey to the driving seat of vehicles was on her brother’s motorcycle.
Even after the age of 18, the bike, car and auto became safe in Nisha’s hands. Nisha jumped, holding on to the desire to catch the ring of bigger carts.
At the age of 25, Hazard got his license to drive vehicles. This changed the course of life. People watched in amazement as Nisha left with all the tanker lorries and petroleum tankers. Nisha overcame all oppositions with safe driving.
Nisha was not surprised even when Ashraf, owner of Maina Constructions in Mannarkkad, and driver Ratip handed over the keys to the Taurus.
He got an opportunity from foreign companies as a driver in Hindustan Petroleum. Arrived in Dubai and UAE. Nisha didn’t have to work hard to get a heavy vehicle license. Now he is preparing to join Mid Asia Bulk Petroleum Company as a driver. Having another female heavydriver in the company also helped.
