The extended family of PAS Ioannina is deeply saddened, as little Angelos Venetis, a football player of the amateur team’s infrastructure, has passed away.
The little Angel became an angel in the heavens to play ball in the fields of heaven. Condolence announcements were issued by PAE PAS Giannina, Erasitechnis PAS, EPSIP, Thyella Katsika and many teams and academies in the region. In fact, as a sign of mourning, EPSIP postponed all the matches of the development championships.

THE AMATEUR PAS
We had a very unpleasant news today (10-2-2024) for the amateur artist PAS YANNINA, since our own Angelos (Venetis) after a great battle he fought, did not make it and left there, high up in the neighborhood of Angelos. Sorrow to the entire family of the amateur artist, which extends its warmest and most sincere condolences to his family.

The president Mr. Vrakas and the members of the European Union of Epirus express their warm and sincere condolences to the family of Angelos Venetis for his untimely and unexpected death. Angelos was a football player for the amateur PAS Ioannina and the mixed teams of EPS Epirus. Have a nice trip Angel….. you will forever be in our hearts….. As a minimum tribute, all tomorrow’s games of the infrastructure sections of EPI will be postponed and a minute’s silence will be observed at all matches of A, B, B, amateur category on Sunday 11/02/2024.

Today is a black day for our city and for the sports of Ioannina as a GREAT FIGHTER “left” us…. Angelos, athlete of PAS Ioannina. The organization of Thyella expresses its sincere and warm condolences to the family of little Angelos and to the family of PAS Giannina. Have a nice trip Angel. You will forever be in our hearts…. As a minimum tribute, the administration of Thyella will ask for a minute’s silence to be observed in our team’s match against the team of Thesprotos.
