Brisbane: Afghanistan-Pakistan warm-up match in Twenty20 World Cup abandoned due to rain. The rain came as Pakistan scored 19 runs without losing a wicket against Afghanistan’s 154 runs at the Gaba. Then the game could not be restarted. The weather is expected to improve before the India-New Zealand warm-up match at the same venue at 1.30.

Chasing a target of 155 runs, Pakistan reached a safe 19-0 in 2.2 overs when the rain started. Captain Babar Azam was 6 in 6 balls and Mohammad Rizwan was not opening his account in 8 balls. Azmatullah Omarzai bowled one and Fazlhaq Farooqui bowled 1.2 overs.
