A new documentary is coming called “Pretty Girl” to come out and tell the life story of the star and veteran actress, 57-year-old Brooke Shields. As mentioned, in the film Shields reveals for the first time that she was raped in her youth, shortly after she graduated from Princeton College.

Shields started her acting career at the age of 12, but it wasn’t until after she graduated that she began to take her first steps in the Hollywood industry. The actress chose not to reveal the identity of the person who attacked her, but said that the two met for a business dinner, so he offered her to go up to his hotel room, in order to wait for a taxi.

“He told me to come to his room, to wait for a taxi that I would order home. So I did so and then he went into the bathroom, and after a while he came out naked. So he just got on top of me and raped me. I was afraid to die, so I just didn’t fight. I completely froze. I told myself I needed to stay alive and get out of this,” Shields revealed.

She added and said that she simply managed to turn herself off and detach herself from the situation and her body. ‘When it was over, I went down in the lift and cried all the way home. At first I refused to believe it was rape. I repressed it for years. One day I decided to stop being the victim, and continue on my path that I believe in,” she concluded.
