Accessibility at the iconic Wiener Stadthalle has been considerably improved, offering enhanced services for wheelchair users and those with hearing impairments. These updates demonstrate a commitment to inclusive event experiences for all attendees.
Wheelchair Accessibility & Ticketing
Patrons requiring wheelchair access can conveniently secure tickets during regular opening hours directly at the Wiener Stadthalle ticket offices. Designated Parking for disabled Visitors
The Wiener Stadthalle provides designated parking spaces to accommodate visitors with disabilities. Spaces are available at Sorbaitgasse 7, operating daily from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., and at Zinckgasse 29, open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m.to 6 p.m. Importantly, regulations outlined in § 29b StVO 1960 extend parking privileges to individuals with permanent severe disabilities and those transporting them. This includes access to disabled parking spaces – and even resident parking – as well as the ability to park in short-term parking zones without time limits or fees.
Barrier-Free Restroom Facilities
The Wiener Stadthalle has invested in complete barrier-free restroom facilities throughout the complex. Automatic door systems ensure easy access to the checkout foyer. On the ground floor of Hall D, accessible restrooms are located in the foyer on both the north and south sides, as well as in the rear southwest area. An additional accessible restroom is available on the southwest side of the first tier. hall F also features barrier-free restrooms conveniently located in the foyer.
All accessible restrooms within the Wiener Stadthalle are equipped with a “Euro cylinder lock,” allowing access to individuals possessing a Euro key at any time during an event.

Recognizing the needs of patrons with hearing impairments,Hall F is equipped with a state-of-the-art induction loop system. This technology allows hearing aid wearers with compatible devices to receive audio signals with optimized sound quality and minimal interference, enhancing their overall event experience.
