Donostia singer Sara Azurza has released the single ‘Here again’, a preview of the album of the same name that will be released on January 27th. It deals with the Neosoul style and although it is a solo project, it does not come alone; The singer is accompanied by Igone Zarate (guitar), Iker Lauroba (piano), Haritz Lauroba (drums) and Txiki (bass).

As Azurza explained, the song presented this Friday is “the most different and danceable”, as it moves between pop and electronica.

The music video for the song was directed by Bárbara Fernandez, who previously worked with Zea Mays and Bulego. In the pictures, the Madrid native reflects the shy first steps of love between two people and the fears that usually appear at this stage.

In addition, the artist has also announced the date for the presentation concert. It will be on the 10th of February at the Cultural Center of Lugaritza.

A rising artist

The singer from Donostia started on stage when he was 17 years old. He took his first steps with Iker Lauroba and then worked with singers and bands Charlie and The Colors, Indigo and Tristan Crowley, among others. He participated in the ETB1 program called Kantuan, among others.

In 2018 he presented his first solo work: Theorein. The album consists of five songs in Basque and English. The songs are written by him (with the exception of Erlojuez Gainez) and produced by Iker Lauroba. These are close to the pop genre and are very acoustic and quiet. Two years later and after traveling between Barcelona, Montreal and London, he presented ‘London Weather’, a proposal with a more soulful feel.

In addition, Azurza was a finalist in the 2021 Mockup Competition together with Mirua, Silitia and Udda.
