Bordeaux, February 6, 1970 – Fans of the intrepid young reporter Tintin are in for a treat: a new animated adventure, “Tintin and the Temple of the Sun,” is hitting screens soon, bringing the beloved character and his colorful cast to life once more.
A New Tintin Tale Unfolds
The latest cartoon adventure takes Tintin to Peru,following the success of previous animated films based on Hergé’s iconic stories.
- Belgian cartoonist Hergé, creator of tintin, visited Bordeaux yesterday.
- “tintin and the Temple of the Sun” was produced by belvision Studios in Brussels, with a team of 250 designers.
- The film’s musical score was composed by fellow Belgian artist Jacques brel.
- Hergé,reflecting on his four decades of creating Tintin adventures,described himself as “zinneke”-born of both Flemish and Walloon heritage.
Following the success of “Tintin and the Mystery of the golden Fleece” and “Tintin and the Blue Oranges,” audiences can anticipate another thrilling journey with Tintin, Captain Haddock, Professor Calculus, the Thompson and Thomson detectives, and snowy. The film will premiere at Le club cinema.
Hergé’s bordeaux Visit
Hergé, a former photoengraver for the Brussels newspaper “le twentieth siècle,” spent a brief but memorable time in Bordeaux yesterday. The creator of “Tintin et Snowy” – launched in 1929 as part of a children’s supplement – radiated a youthful spirit, mirroring that of his famous creation.
During his visit, Hergé was accompanied by Mrs. Renaudie, representing Mr.La Borderie, along with Mr. Jean-Baptiste Achéritéguy, distributor, and Messrs. Pierre Pascal and Gérard Coumau from “French Film.”
Hergé hinted at future Tintin adventures, with a planned expedition to Central America already in the works. He promised more thrilling stories for his devoted fans.
