Based on the Harley-Davidson X440, Hero MotoCorp will launch the Mavrick 440 in the international market on January 23. When this motorcycle was tested on Indian roads, various photos were released and created huge expectations. With just two days to go for the vehicle’s official launch, Hero last week released a sneak peek of the Maverick 440 model. Based on that, the details released about this vehicle so far are listed below.

Hero Mavrick 440 Design:

According to Glymps, “The Mavrick 440 model features a circular LED headlamp at the front, a pair of small DRLs, an offset circular instrument cluster, a single-piece tubular handlebar and telescopic forks. It also features a muscular petrol tank, sharp tank extensions that extend to the front forks, a single-piece seat and a substantial pillion grab rail. Braking hardware consists of front and rear disc brakes. It comes with a dual-channel ABS system.

Features stuck in test run:

According to photos taken during the test drive, it also features LED turn indicators, diamond-cut alloy wheels and a different exhaust system from the Harley-Davidson X440 motorcycle. The Mavrick will be powered by the same 440cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine. Tuning may vary on this model. The engine churns out 27bhp and 38Nm and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. It is also expected to get modern features like smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and a USB charging port. In an effort to keep the price down, the front and rear wheels will be 17-inch alloy wheels, with dual shock absorbers at the rear, according to reports.

The announcement regarding the price of the vehicle will be released on the 23rd. However, it is expected to be priced up to Rs 2 lakh. When launched in the Indian market, the model will rival the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Triumph Speed ​​400, Yesti and Java motorcycles.
