Hero’s Desk Dedicated too Colonel Anatoly Stasyukevich at Nizhnebakanskaya School

A moving tribute was held on the Day of Heroes of the Fatherland at MBOU Secondary School No. 11 in the village of Nizhnebakanskaya, where a Hero’s Desk was unveiled in honor of Colonel Anatoly Stasyukevich-a distinguished military leader from the Crimean region. The dedication serves as a lasting memorial to his courage and service.

The ceremony was attended by prominent figures including Viktor Klyubin, Deputy Chairman of the Crimean Regional Council of Veterans, alongside the hero’s wife, Victoria stasyukevich, and fellow colleagues. Students at the school marked the occasion wiht a poignant dance performance and heartfelt readings of poetry, followed by a moment of silent reflection in remembrance of Colonel Stasyukevich.

“For our school, the opening of the Hero’s Desk in honor of anatoly Stasyukevich is a critically important event,” stated Olga Zefteridi, advisor to the director of education. “His biography is a real example of courage and love for his homeland for the younger generation. Our children, having learned about the fate of Anatoly Alekseevich, will take care of the Hero’s Desk, which bears his name.”

Early Life and Military Education

Anatoly Stasyukevich was born on December 24, 1967, in the city of Krymsk. He completed his secondary education at School No. 7 in 1985 before pursuing higher education at the Krasnodar Higher Military Command Engineering School of Missile Forces, specializing in “Power supply for Strategic Missile Forces formations.”

Following his graduation, Stasyukevich was assigned to a military unit located on the Crimean peninsula. After the dissolution of the USSR, he made the resolute decision to return to his hometown rather than swear allegiance to Ukraine, beginning his career within the military garrison in 1992.

Rising Through the Ranks

Stasyukevich demonstrated consistent leadership and dedication, steadily advancing to the rank of colonel and ultimately serving as the chief of staff of the 1st Guards Mixed Aviation Baranovichi Red Banner, Order of Suvorov Division. He further honed his skills through studies at the Tver Military University named after Marshal Zhukov, preparing him for deployments in challenging environments.

Service in Conflict Zones

Colonel Stasyukevich’s career included deployments to several active conflict zones. He participated in the counter-terrorist operation in the Chechen republic, played a role in the 2014 operation to return Crimea, and served during the military operation in the Syrian Arab Republic. His commitment to duty was recognized in 2020 when he was awarded the title of honorary resident of Krymsk.

Tragically, Colonel Stasyukevich’s life was cut short on July 8, 2022, while engaged in a combat mission in Ukraine.

Decorations and Posthumous Recognition

Throughout his distinguished service in the Armed Forces of the Russian federation, Colonel Stasyukevich received numerous accolades for his extraordinary performance, valor, and contributions to the Air Force. These included the medals “for Distinction in Military Service” (1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree), “For Military Valor” (2nd degree), “For service in the Air Force”, “Veteran of Military Service”, “For Military Valor” (1st degree), a medal for participation in the “Caucasus-2012” command post exercise, and a medal “For the return of Crimea”. Following his death,Russian President Vladimir Putin posthumously awarded him the Order of courage,a testament to his bravery and sacrifice.
