The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Khamenei, declared today, Wednesday, that Hezbollah is victorious in its war, and the martyrdom of its leadership will not affect its strength.
Sayyed Khamenei said during a meeting with a group of heroes and activists of the “Holy Defense” and the resistance on the occasion of Holy Defense Week (the anniversary of the war launched by Saddam’s regime against Iran): “We appreciate the role that the first generation of heroes had, and that the attack on Iran was not limited to the desire of the Baath Party.” Not only that, but international powers were behind waging war on Iran,” noting that “the world order could not tolerate the world order. the emergence of the Islamic Revolution, although Iran had no military capabilities at the time.
He emphasized, “The Iranian revolution took a new approach that rejects submission and subservience before the world powers, that rejected the world order,” noting that “the world powers wanted to attack of Iran, and a tyrannical and branchy person, Saddam Hussein, seemed to play this role.”
He continued, “We are not enemies of anyone. Rather, Iran has relations with many that will not affect the nuclear program, human rights, or anything else, but its approach and its rhetoric. The conflict between Iran and the hegemonic powers will continue. Unless Iran changes its approach and policy, and it will not.”
He said that “Iran’s new ideas, approach and discourse are behind the hegemonic powers that make war on it, and attention should be paid to the narrative of the main reasons behind making war on Iran.”
He explained, “The enemy was planning to make war on Iran, and the international powers sent all kinds of weapons and money to spend on it, and we were not ready for that.”
He said, “It is important to protect the territory and sovereignty, but more important than that is the protection of Islam and the Qur’an, and that is what has kept Iran alive.”
Sayyed Khamenei emphasized, “The Muslims must reform Palestine and return the Al-Aqsa Mosque to its people.”
He continued, “If the Zionist entity had been able to overcome the resistance in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon, it would not have carried out massacres against civilians in front of the world, ” pointing out that “the assassinations will not shake Hezbollah. Because it has the consistency that makes it not obey these strikes.”
