Thanks to the constant work of the builders SP Ingenieros SAS, Termotécnica Coindustrial SA, Unidad de Infraestructura y Construcciones Asociadas SAS and China Harbor Engineering company, the Autopista al Mar 2 project, 254 km long, has achieved 99.32% progress. in the final stage of construction.
In the execution of Mar 2, the achievements that have been achieved in the socioeconomic environment are important, through actions aimed at the benefit of the communities in the area of influence of the project, such as: generation of 26,221 jobs, with 52% of the participation of the region; improvement in the quality of life of 67 families that have been reestablished in new housing environments, improving their initial conditions; training opportunities for communities, thanks to inter-institutional alliances with SENA and municipal administrations, to strengthen their skills for the development of productive activities.
the project has worked hand in hand with 62 educational institutions, implementing 465 pedagogical days and 27 awareness campaigns, thereby reaffirming its co-responsibility in the safe mobility of users with the support of the National Police.
Thanks to this effort of the human team that makes up the Concesionaria Autopistas Urabá SAS, positive impacts have been achieved for the progress and sustainable development of the Western region and Urabá Antioquia.
