The Ministry of Culture and Sports awards the Minister of Culture Award from the field of curators for expressing appreciation and appreciation for the work of the professional curator who works to preserve the collection for which he is in charge, his research and encouraging the establishment of additional professional exhibitions in Israel. The award’s judging committee unanimously approved Ms. Hila Cohen Schneiderman as the winner of the award for 2021.

“Hila Cohen Schneiderman, Chief Curator of the Bat Yam Museums, is the winner of the Minister of Culture and Sports’ Curatorial Award for 2021. The committee chose Cohen Schneiderman as the winner in light of her diverse, groundbreaking work in the field of curatorship. For works by artists from the museum’s collection, she formulated curatorial moves that draw a line between the past and the present. “, Promotes research on Rybeck’s works and works to open the Rybeck House. She treats the museum as a laboratory, as a place for sharing, wondering and thinking and hence each exhibition she curates at the museum receives its own curatorial care and practice.”
