After the cult cell phone 3310, the Nokia 3210 is now set to return – with modern technology. According to media reports, the phone has already been introduced.

What do the Nokia 8110 (Banana Phone), the Nokia 8210 and the Nokia 3310 have in common? All three cell phones are classics from the early days of cell phones and have been reissued in recent years. Another cult cell phone will soon get a new edition: the Nokia 3210.

As the site “nokiamob.net” reports, the Finnish manufacturer HMD showed the device at an event in Kenya. A corresponding post on Platform X, in which the new Nokia 3210 was shown, has now been deleted.

Nevertheless, some features are known. The blue phone is said to look similar to the original device from 1999 – at least from the front.

Camera and flash light on the back

On the back, a few details do not match the classic from 25 years ago: For example, a camera and an associated flash light, which did not exist back then, are noticeable. The HMD logo on the back at the bottom is also new.

Nothing is known about the housing dimensions. It is also not known when the phone will appear and whether it will come to Germany.

The Nokia 3210 was the first phone on the market without an external antenna and one of the most successful cell phones with over 150 million units sold. A special feature were the interchangeable cover shells, with which the device could be individually adapted.

According to “nokiamob.net”, Nokia presented additional phones at the event in Kenya. These include the so-called feature phones Nokia 215 4G, Nokia 225 4G and Nokia 235 4G. Some of these are new editions of phones that came onto the market in recent years.
