New Delhi – Uttar Pradesh Hockey President Rakesh Katyal and Hockey Jharkhand President and former national wrestler Bhola Nath Singh will compete against former Indian captain and Olympian Dilip Tirkey for the post of National Hockey Association (Hockey India). The race for the post of Hockey India President is on October 1. Last date for withdrawal of paper is 23rd.
Bhola Nath Singh is also contesting for the post of Secretary General of Hockey India. Hockey India President Hitesh Sidwani and Maharashtra Association Vice President Manoj Bore are Bhola Nath’s rivals for the Secretary General post. Dilip Tirkey was a member of the Indian men’s hockey team that won the Asian Games gold in 1998. He was an MP from 2012 to 2018.
