From this Monday, the 13th to next Friday, November 17, Holguín will host the 34th edition of the National Cuban Radio Festival, after more than a decade without the meeting of radio broadcasters taking place, as its last edition was held in 2008. .
The juries of six work commissions evaluated, since last day 5, more than 150 works in competition that reflect the diversity of forms of radio production in the genres of: dramatized programs, varied, musical, informative, propaganda specialty, experimental spaces and productions for the Internet.
“This contest is the first after several years of absence from this festival that generates the exchange of experiences, motivations and listening to the various ways of telling the stories of Cuba and its people,” he noted enthusiastically in statements to the newspaper ¡ Ahora! , Natalia Díaz Riverón, director of the Provincial Radio System in Holguín.
As part of the activities of the radio broadcasters’ fair, this Monday at the “La Periquera” Provincial Museum, there will be an exchange of several National Radio Awards: Caridad Martínez, Orieta Cordeiro, Iván Pérez, Ernesto Robles and others, with the accredited press, students of Journalism, Social Communication and FAMCA (Faculty of Audiovisual Communication).
This edition of the ether festival, the third to be held in the Cuban City of Parks, will close with the presentation of the 57 awards at the Nocturno cultural-recreational center, next Thursday when the stars of the best of that sound to see, which is the centenary Cuban Radio.
