Hapoel Holon is at the peak moment of its season. She has already recorded another chapter in the club’s history books when she qualified for the Final Four of the FIBA Champions League, where she will face Tenerife tonight (Friday) and hopes to qualify for the grand final in Bilbao.
In the shadow of the great excitement of the class, the group chose not to ignore the unfortunate attack that took place in Elad, and submitted a request to Fiba to come up with black ribbons on the game jersey in memory of the murdered and were answered in the affirmative.
Holonia’s official Twitter account read: “The team’s players will go up to play tonight with black ribbons on the lapel of the game jersey in memory of the victims of last night’s shocking attack in Elad. “At the club, they approached Fiba with a request that was answered in the affirmative. The Hapoel Holon basketball club shares the grief of the families and wishes for quiet days for all the people of Israel.”
