BOLZANO. The municipal council of Bolzano has authorized the extension of the temporary servicenight reception at the “Ex Alimarket”for the urgent transfer of guests of the “Comini” structure due to urgent renovation works.

The cost of the works amounts to 27,662 euros and it is estimated that the time needed to carry them out is approximately one month.

Speaking instead of the reception structure in via Pacinotti, the municipal council this morning noted that the Province intends to entrust the structure itself to the Municipality and ASSB.

The city executive therefore decided to divide and allocate the 200 beds available in 70 beds for workers upon payment of a fee; 30 beds for vulnerable people and 100 beds for exclusive winter use within the “Cold Emergency” project, with the concession and therefore the provision of services starting from the moment in which the structure is completely up to standard, i.e. from the end the implementation of safety works for the building and the construction of a fire escape, the installation of the smoke detection system and the construction of toilets and showers inside the structure.

It should be remembered that the premises in via Pacinotti have to date been used by the provincial Civil Protection within the “Cold Emergency” project, welcoming around 200 people.
