Honda Pilot left the Russian market – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

by time news

The Honda Pilot crossover can no longer be bought in Russia. This information was confirmed by the press service of the Japanese company. On the official website of the brand in the Russian Federation, the model is no longer there, and dealers have only a few copies of cars left.

It should be noted that now Honda offers the Russians exclusively CR-V, but this crossover will say goodbye to Russia in the first half of 2022.

The fact that Honda decided to leave our market became known at the end of 2020.

As the company said at the time, “the decision was dictated by Honda Motor’s automotive business development strategy aimed at restructuring operations amid ongoing changes in the global automotive industry.”

Experts note that the departure of Honda is a predictable event, which is associated not so much with the problems of the Russian car market and wave-like financial crises, but with the mistakes of the management of the Japanese company itself in difficult periods of time.

The CR-V crossover can still be bought from 3,087,900 rubles, as for the Pilot, it cost from 3,849,900 rubles.
