jpnn.com – JAKARTA – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) praised the success of the Indonesian U-23 National Team in defeating Jordan and advancing to the last eight in the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup. Jokowi said that the Garuda Muda Team had shown great hard work.
“The Garuda Team showed great hard work in the AFC U-23 Asian Cup. Unmitigated, as a debutant team, Indonesia managed to set a new record to qualify for the quarter-finals after beating Australia 1-0 and Jordan 4-1. ” said President Jokowi via his official account on Instagram, Monday (21/4).
President Jokowi also expressed his hope that the Indonesian U-23 National Team could advance even higher. “Congratulations to the U-23 National Football Team. Hopefully they can progress even higher until the next round,” said Jokowi.
