Werder Bremen has made a significant change on the sidelines, parting ways with coach Horst Steffen after a challenging seven months. Currently 15th in the German Bundesliga standings, the club reacted to a concerning ten-game winless streak. Following a 1-1 draw against Borussia Mönchengladbach, their lead over the relegation zone has narrowed to just one point.

Assistant coaches Raphael Duarte and Christian Gross will immediately step in to lead the team on an interim basis.
