In the conclusions, the organization also supports the fact that “this type of problem is common to the different telecommunications operators analyzed and independent of the type of speed contracted.”
«OCU considers that, if the contracted speed is far from what is received, if the Wi-Fi is frequently disconnected or if there are stoppages in the viewing of videos or communications, the consumer must notify the operator so that it reconfigures the channels of the router or update the firmware,” he says. He also points out that, in cases where the problem is not resolved«the operator should offer the free exchange of the old equipment for a new one, especially if more than three years have passed since it was installed»: «If it does not, the consumer should insist, alleging that the new customers, who they pay the same, they have a better service».
