About six months ago, something happened in the life of the star of “The Sopranos” Dara De Matteo. After losing many acting jobs and her bank account dwindling, she decided to join the adult content platform Only Fans. Now the 52-year-old DeMatteo, an Emmy Award winner for her role in the iconic series, is revealing how this move saved her and her family from financial ruin, no less.
“I was put into foreclosure and my house was flooded, so I tried to sell it quickly. I wanted to try to sell it before they took it,” the star told the Daily Mail. De Matteo added that “at the same time, I lost my mother, and my other mother, who suffers from dementia, ran out of money for her caregiver. I didn’t know where to turn,” she said painfully.
DeMatteo recounted how she continued to upload photos to the platform and within “five minutes,” she said, she had already made enough money to pay the real estate company that owns her home — which kept the property from being sold.
