The 52-year-old star recently ran into quite a few personal and financial crises that clouded her life, as a result of which she opened an account on the website OnlyFans, which gained a dubious reputation due to sexual content that costs money. However, after the criticism, de Matteo clarifies that the step saved her life from collapse and claims: “Whoever wants to condemn me and bring me down, let him do it. I just hope he never finds himself in the situation I was in.”

About six months ago, something happened in the life of the star of “The Sopranos” Dara De Matteo. After losing many acting jobs and her bank account dwindling, she decided to join the adult content platform Only Fans. Now the 52-year-old DeMatteo, an Emmy Award winner for her role in the iconic series, is revealing how this move saved her and her family from financial ruin, no less.

“I was put into foreclosure and my house was flooded, so I tried to sell it quickly. I wanted to try to sell it before they took it,” the star told the Daily Mail. De Matteo added that “at the same time, I lost my mother, and my other mother, who suffers from dementia, ran out of money for her caregiver. I didn’t know where to turn,” she said painfully.

DeMatteo recounted how she continued to upload photos to the platform and within “five minutes,” she said, she had already made enough money to pay the real estate company that owns her home — which kept the property from being sold.

“It saved us. Only Pans saved my life. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but it really did save us. Anyone who wants to condemn me and bring me down, go for it. I just hope he never finds himself in the situation I was in, to take care of two small children,” said De Matteo, who noted that at first, she was really not interested in opening an account on the site, quite the opposite. Probably after she got it on the head when the pictures went viral.

The original plan of the actress and her husband Robbie Stabler was to create a podcast that would be uploaded on the platform and create sexy content – but for a fee. “That’s what it was originally, because you have to add a little something for the only pans, for example he (her husband) rubs my legs.”

But after the dizzying financial success, now it seems that the star also likes the findings and the viral content she created, despite the criticism: “I feel good about it. I usually look good, and the best part about it is that I look bigger. I don’t look good in pictures if I Lean. Before the shoot I get to eat and eat, I get to build up my muscle mass to look better,” she said before revealing her carb-loading diet. “I’m just an Italian lady in the world, eating spaghetti and pasta and steak.”
