Human Rights Commission demands job of wrestler – NEWS 360 – SPORTS

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Human Rights Commission (HRC) has asked the government to take immediate action against Prasad Kumar, who lost his mobility due to a severe spinal injury sustained during a district wrestling match in Kollam in 2015. The order was issued by the Kerala Sports Council to Justice Anthony Dominic, chairman of the commission.

On July 25, 2016, the commission had ordered that Prasad Kumar, a native of Thampanoor, be given a job. The government had sanctioned Rs 2,00,000 on the basis of the order. But the job was not given. Prasad Kumar’s condition is deplorable.
