According to Iranian authorities, the hurricane reached the city of Chabahar, south of Sistan and Baluchestan Province, after rain fell in the region at dawn on Saturday, causing the destruction and sinking of two fishing boats in the port of Psandar Dashtiari, which is located. 100 kilometers from Chabahar port.
The Director General of Shipping Affairs and Road Transport in southern Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Jalaluddin Qadri, said the Remdan border road, Ngor-Baris crossroads and Samaj-Sindha road were closed until further notice due to the cyclone.
Qadri added, “After the Meteorological Organization previously announced that the hurricane was in the southern regions of Sistan and Baluchestan Province, this department took the initiative to alert all road and transport patrols to provide the necessary services in the shortest possible period. time for road users.”
The Director General of Crisis Management in the province of Sistan and Baluchestan said that so far there have been no reports of casualties in the region as a result of the hurricane.
For her, the spokesperson of the Emergency Organization of Iran, Mojtaba Khaledi, said that 52 people visited medical centers in the areas ravaged by the hurricane, including 3 who died in medical centers.
He explained that most of the problems caused by the hurricane were related to eye, respiratory and heart diseases, and said that the injured left hospitals after receiving the necessary medical services.
On Saturday evening, Fars Agency reported that 13 new injuries were recorded as a result of the hurricane in the port of Chabahar, adding that it also resulted in the cancellation of two fishing boats, resulting in the loss of 5 sailors.
