Kovalam: Thiruvallam Vazhamuttam bypass near Pachallur Chudukadu Bhadrakali temple. It is learned that the couple had come to know that the husband of one of the sisters had committed suicide. Aishwarya (32) and her sister Sharimol (31) were killed in an accident at Panathura Gigi Colony on Saturday night.
Aishwarya died on the way to the hospital and late at night while undergoing treatment, hospital officials said. The accident took place on the way to Thiruvallam from Kovalam. They were rushed to the Medical College Hospital by locals and highway police. The body was transferred to the mortuary.
Neighbors said the accident happened when Aishwarya’s husband Sreeji, who lives in Nedumangad, was found hanging in his house.
