In a Facebook post on August 9, Chowdhury clarified his position, stating that he was not responsible for any statements made in his name, citing his mother’s illness. He expressed his desire for peace and tranquility in the country.
Chanchal Chowdhury’s upcoming film, “Padatik,” is a biopic of renowned filmmaker Mrinal Sen, directed by Srijit Mukherjee. Chowdhury portrays Mrinal Sen in the movie, which is scheduled for release on August 15.
