15 new and modern trolleybuses bought with community funds left the route today, Yerevan Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan was one of the first passengers.
“Additions and changes to our rolling stock will be mainly in the direction of electronic transport. We plan to purchase about 250 electric buses. This will also be our attitude to the problem of air pollution. In general, transport will start to work with one logic: metro with buses, buses with trolleybuses and all will become a common network, which is very important. I am sure that many of us will prefer to give up cars and travel by transport, because it will be more convenient and faster,” Avinyan said in a conversation with journalists.
