“I cautioned Tove against attending court as her boyfriend was interrogated”

by time news

During the interrogation on Monday, Tove’s boyfriend discussed the last call he had with Tove before she went to the 20-year-old’s apartment. Despite warning her against going, Tove decided to go anyway. The sister and boyfriend were both present during the interrogation, as depicted in a clip shown in court.

The boyfriend described ongoing arguments and conflicts between the 20-year-old and Tove, and the sister confirmed that she and Tove were fearful of the 20-year-old and did not want her as a part of their friend group. However, the sister also described Tove as someone who wanted to resolve conflicts, which may have been her motivation for accompanying the 20-year-old home.

Later in the day, the prosecutor presented evidence suggesting that both the 18-year-old and the 20-year-old were responsible for Tove’s murder. However, the 20-year-old’s defense lawyer, Clea Sangborn, challenged the coroner’s investigation and questioned the cause of death. The boyfriend and family’s legal counsel were also present for this part of the proceedings.

In the interrogation on Monday afternoon, Tove’s boyfriend told about the last call he received from Tove at night, when she was on her way to the apartment where the 20-year-old lives.

– I advised her not to go there, he says.

In the clip, you can hear parts of the interrogation in court today with the sister and the boyfriend.

Arguments and conflicts

The boyfriend describes that there was a lot of fighting around the 20-year-old and that there were conflicts between her and Tove. The sister also describes a fear of the 20-year-old and that she and Tove did not want her in the group of friends they were part of.

At the same time, she describes Tove as a person who wanted to sort things out and that that was probably why she accompanied the 20-year-old home.
