The negotiation process with Azerbaijan continues, including in an online format, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced in an interview with Public TV.
“It continues for a while, including online mode, because you know, we are giving our proposals to Azerbaijan, now we are waiting for their response,” he said.
Nikol Pashinyan also addressed the accusations of the Azerbaijani side, according to which Armenia was delaying the answers to the proposals regarding the “peace treaty”.
“They accused us that we did not give an answer for 2 months, but what was the reason for that? our proposals were ready, meetings were constantly planned, and it was delayed because Azerbaijan rejected 4 meetings in a row. Every meeting was part of the transfer of that negotiation package. But even now, I consider that the negotiations are continuing on the text of the peace agreement, because now if it is not possible to discuss face to face, that work is also a negotiation,” said Nikol Pashinyan in this regard.
He added that there are also contacts at the working level.
“There can also be new contacts,” he said.
