Gafni explains the background to the trip: “You have to understand that at the time I lived in New York as a model I knew a lot of people from the industry, celebrities and rich, and it was no exception that a Jew was enthusiastic about the idea that I was a successful model from Israel.” In addition, Gaffney made it clear that she did not meet Clinton himself, and the relationship with Epstein was also very short and quickly faded. “It was almost 30 years ago, I do not remember details,” she says of the case. “I was 22 and met countless new people in the modeling industry.”

And how did you feel when you heard about his exploits?
“We did not keep in touch so I did not even remember his name. Almost 30 years passed anyway. When the reporter called and asked me if I was with Jeffrey Epstein in the White House I was shocked that this Jewish guy is the Jeffrey in question. Epstein ended his life in prison in August 2019 while Maxwell is expected to spend decades in prison.
