Members of the Lok Sabha posed questions to Union Minister Piyush Goyal on consumer affairs, food and public distribution. He explained the questions. Speaking on the occasion, DMK MP Kanimozhi said, “The Tamil Nadu government is distributing 20 kg of rice free of cost to every ration card holder. Not only that but a lot of schemes are linked with the ration card. Ration is a state matter. In this situation, who is allocating funds for the supply of immigrants from outside the state under a single ration scheme? ”
Union Minister Piyush Goyal answered Kanimozhi’s question in Hindi. Kanimozhi then interrupted, “I know you speak English well. If you speak Hindi it is a little hard to understand. I asked the question in English only. Answer in English too. “After that, Piyush Goyal said,” I respect my sister “and then replied in English. “All types of food provided under the National Food Security Program will be funded by the federal government,” he said.
