In the negotiations, no one can say what the Armenian agenda item is. during the discussion, Kristine Vardanyan, deputy of the “Armenia” faction, stated that they got acquainted with the details of the negotiations with Azerbaijan and the expected “Peace Treaty”.
He also announced that two points are being negotiated, and the Armenian side’s claims are two: first, that the word “peace” must be in the title, and then there will be wording that will not cause public resistance.
“In other words, there is no problem with the agenda, there is a problem with the wording, for example, there should not be a “Zangezur Corridor”, but the logic should be that,” said Vardanyan.
The deputy of the “Armenia” faction also mentioned that the unexplored topic of keeping the 29,800 square meter area does not even have guarantees.
“There is no evidence that Azerbaijan is renouncing its territorial ambitions,” he said and added that after looking at the documents, he can say that Azerbaijan’s agendas are fully reflected.
“I have not seen anything to say that we have acquired after signing this contract. At the moment when the head of Azerbaijan wants to sign, Azerbaijan just wants to confirm what it has achieved, and there are negotiations on the wording. Also, so that future actions are not limited,” he said.
