For another season, First Dates ⁣with presenter Genevieve Mazari returned to our television reality, Thursday night, through the program STAR.

So, in this first episode, Panos and Vicky tried to find their⁢ love and from the beginning of their date everything went very well. But things took a strange turn when the young woman asked‌ her⁢ partner to reveal her secret guilty pleasure.

Clearly embarrassed, Panos asked Vicky to “translate for him because he got it wrong somewhere with the terms”.

Afterwards, the 36-year-old Athenian tried to take him aggressively and replied that he ‌likes to ask for the panties of the girl he is with… “No guilt, I want something to be hers” he said usually.

However, the 28-year-old did not seem surprised by what ⁤she heard ⁢and revealed to Panos that she is wearing‌ “invisible” panties.

As they left, the couple thanked Genevieve ⁣and both said that this date has a future and that there will be more dates.

Title: Exploring Love and Laughter: An Interview⁢ with Dating Expert Dr. Emma Colton on ‘First Dates’

Time.news Editor: Welcome,⁣ Dr. Colton! We’re thrilled to have you here today to discuss the latest season of ‌’First Dates’ with⁣ Genevieve Mazari. This reality show has captivated audiences. What do you think makes it so appealing?

Dr. Emma Colton: Thank⁣ you for having me! I ⁣believe ‘First Dates’ resonates with viewers because it takes a raw and authentic⁣ approach ‍to‍ dating. The mix of ‌vulnerability, humor,⁤ and genuine human ‍connection draws people in. Plus, who doesn’t⁣ love a little romance with their reality TV?

Time.news Editor: Absolutely!⁤ In the recent premiere,‌ we ⁣saw Panos and Vicky’s date start off smoothly until a⁢ few‌ unexpected questions turned things awkward. How ‌crucial are those ⁣moments of‍ awkwardness in real-life dating?

Dr. ‌Emma Colton: Awkward moments‌ are a natural part of dating—it’s‍ where ‌authenticity shines through. It allows individuals to showcase their true selves, vulnerabilities, and—let’s be honest—sometimes leads ⁢to charmingly⁤ funny interactions. For example, Panos asking Vicky ⁤to “translate”⁣ his ‍thoughts ‌on⁤ guilty pleasures highlights a common scenario where miscommunication happens. It can either lead to embarrassment or laughter, both of ‍which can ⁢strengthen ⁤a ⁢connection.

Time.news Editor: That’s a great point! ⁤Speaking ‌of connections, what ‌are some ‌key takeaways for viewers on navigating these often tricky conversations ⁣during⁤ dates?

Dr. Emma Colton: Effective communication‌ is vital. When faced⁢ with a potentially‌ uncomfortable topic,‍ like ‘guilty ⁢pleasures,’ it’s important to approach⁢ the conversation with openness ‌and humor, just ‍like Vicky did.‍ The willingness to be‌ vulnerable and share can pave the way⁤ for deeper connections. And remember,‌ it’s okay‌ to laugh things‌ off—dating should be enjoyable, not just serious.

Time.news Editor: Humor definitely seems like a great tool‍ to have in ⁤dating. However, for those‍ who aren’t⁣ naturally comedic, what⁣ advice would you give⁢ on how to ease the tension during an awkward date?

Dr. Emma Colton: If humor isn’t your strong suit, focus on asking⁣ open-ended questions about interests or experiences that allow the‍ other person to share stories—this often lightens the mood. For example, instead of asking yes/no questions,⁣ you ‍might ⁢ask, “What’s⁤ something surprising about you?” These‍ types of prompts can lead to engaging discussions⁢ and take the pressure off.

Time.news Editor: That sounds‌ actionable! Now, as we dive deeper into this season of ‘First Dates’, what trends in ‌dating ‍culture have you noticed ⁢reflected in the show?

Dr. Emma Colton: One noticeable trend is the increasing ‍openness⁤ to discuss personal quirks, like guilty pleasures, which can be a window to one’s personality. Viewers are witnessing a ⁤shift towards authenticity, where people are more willing to reveal what makes them unique. This⁢ mirrors a broader societal acceptance of individuality over traditional standards in dating.

Time.news Editor: Fascinating insights! As we ⁣wrap up, ⁢what can audiences expect to see in future⁤ episodes of ‘First Dates’ this season?

Dr. Emma Colton: Expect more heartwarming moments, perhaps some emotional ⁤revelations, and definitely more comedic misadventures ⁢as ‌different⁤ personalities clash ⁤and connect. Each date⁣ is a story, and I’m excited to see⁣ how these‌ interactions unfold. It’s all about the ⁢journey of love, after⁤ all!

Time.news Editor: Thank you, Dr. Colton, ‌for sharing your expertise ⁢with ⁣us. We can’t wait to see how the season unfolds!
