On January 22, the administrative court published the verdicts regarding Murad Papazyan and Masis Abrahamyan, Armenians who were recognized as undesirable persons.
“With the published decision, the court recognized the lack of legal relationship through very clear and systematic analyzes and obliged the NSS to remove the data of Murad Papazyan and Masis Abrahamyan from the list of undesirable persons,” Artsvik Minasyan, secretary of the NA “Armenia” faction, said at a meeting with journalists.
According to him, without at all belittling the role of the NSS, these two cases are of great importance from the point of view of protecting the rights of Diaspora Armenians.
Apart from Papazyan and Abrahamyan, Aslan Aslanyan, Artur Nzhdeh Karakavoryan and Syune Abrahamyan were also recognized as undesirable persons for RA. According to Minasyan, the cases regarding them are in different legal processes.
Lawyer Ruben Melikyan also expressed that he appreciates the court’s decision very highly.
“I hope that there will be no reason to continue the dispute in this case, although I understand that the NSS will appeal to the appeals court. But I also hope that the NSS will try to find solutions for such situations after getting to know them in depth. Giving great importance to the decision, we see an opportunity for development, so that the right of those people, for whom Armenia is their homeland, to return to Armenia is not questioned,” said Ruben Melikyan.
