Most of the food shops and restaurants are closed during the month of Ramadan. Animals such as dogs and cats are suffering from food shortage. The dog lives by eating the food given by the people all day long. Since people don’t eat during the day during Ramadan, dogs also suffer from food shortages. Jaya Ahsan, a popular actress of Bengal, has drawn everyone’s attention to this issue.

He wrote in his Facebook post: ‘Most of the dogs on the street are fed by our cakes and biscuits. But in the month of Ramadan, even that does not reach their foreheads. They don’t fast like us anymore. So it wanders around all day long for little food. Let us think of these helpless animals on the streets this Ramadan. Leave some food for them outside our house.’

Jaya Ahsan has been working in animal conservation for a long time. He also keeps several pets in his home. During the last covid epidemic, he himself cooked and fed the helpless dogs on the streets of Dhaka. A few days ago, Jaya Ahsan filed a writ in the High Court to stop the use of elephants in commercial and entertainment activities including elephant circuses, traveling on elephants, and decorating weddings. Then the court took it into consideration. The court has suspended the process of giving personal license for these activities. Joya was accompanied by People for Animal Welfare Foundation, an organization working on animal rights.

Jaya Ahsan was last seen in the theaters of the country in the movie ‘Peyar Subas’. The movie was released on February 9.
