It stormed the box office even after its release. Like ‘Pathan’ movie, Shahrukh got love for ‘Jawaan’. The movie grossed Rs.1160 crores.
Shah Rukh Khan won the ‘G-Cine Award-2024’ in the Best Actor category for the movie ‘Jawaan’. Atlee Kumar won the best director award for the same movie. The award ceremony was held in Mumbai a few days ago. Shahrukh-Atlee was present in it. At the award ceremony, Shah Rukh Khan recalled his difficult times.
When Shah Rukh Khan’s movie was flopping at the box office, he had a mental breakdown. Shah Rukh Khan said, ‘Four-five years ago my film was not doing well, I was mentally disturbed then. I gave up film work. I used to sit at home, make pizza, bread, spend time with children. In the meantime, Covid comes.’
