Aram Khachatryan, the former governor of Lori, writes:
“Dear compatriots, citizens of Lorraine, colleagues,
as you already know, according to my application and the relevant decision of the RA government of January 4, I was relieved of the position of the governor of Lori.
Dear compatriots, first of all, I want to express my deep gratitude to RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the RA government for entrusting me with the extremely binding and responsible position of Lori Governor for three years.
I have had many occasions to say that occupying the position of Lori marz chief was a great honor, a high responsibility and an opportunity to serve the people of my marz personally. I assumed the position in a rather difficult situation, and with the support of the RA government, together with the staff of the regional governor’s office, community leaders, and other regional institutions, we spared no effort to solve many problems in the region, implement a number of important programs and lead the region on the path of development. An important principle for me was cohesion, being united, creating a healthy atmosphere in the region for the benefit of the welfare of our region and the country, and the well-being of the residents of the region.
I can definitely assure you that I was accountable at work and it was extremely important for me to ensure the right to a dignified life for every citizen of Lorraine.
Taking advantage of this opportunity, I would like to first thank the Lori Governor’s staff for their active and hard work, cooperation and support over the years. I also express my gratitude to the power structures, heads of communities, staff, representatives of international and non-governmental organizations, all those structures with which I had the opportunity and honor to cooperate for the development of Lori region.
I declare with all responsibility. from now on and forever I will continue to serve my Motherland, the Republic of Armenia, I will always be next to my dear people from Lorraine, my compatriots.
Yours, Aram Khachatryan.”
