The death of an ice cream vendor while intoxicated near a Tasmac store in Perundurai has caused a stir.

Chinnarasu (66) hails from Chinapuram Vellichettipalayam area near Perundurai in Erode district. He has been in the ice business. His wife is Chenniyammal. They have 2 sons and a daughter. Everyone is married and living separately. Chinnarasu has a habit of drinking alcohol. Thus he has been drunk and has not paid for family expenses. As a result, there was a dispute between the husband and wife and for the last 10 years Chenniyammal has been living at home with her son after separating from her husband.

Thus Chinnarasu lived alone in the house. In this condition, Chinnarasu has been drinking a lot and wandering around for the last few days. On the day of the incident, Chinapuram was found drunk near Tasmak and fell asleep under the influence of alcohol. It is said that he did not wake up until the next morning. The suspect public informed his family about this. Chinnarasu was lying breathless when relatives rushed to see him.

Following this, he was rescued and taken to a private hospital in Perundurai. Doctors who examined him there said Chinnarasu was dead. The Perundurai police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
