Yesterday, the world’s largest luxury cruise ship “Icon of the seas” continued its maiden voyage from Biscayne Bay in Miami, Florida.

The total length of this luxury ship is 1200 feet and belongs to the Royal Caribbean cruise company, which left with passengers for a 7-day tour.

“This ship is the amalgamation of our 50 years of experience in the industry to provide people with the world’s best vacation experiences. It is designed to allow multi-generational families to fulfill their travel dreams at once,” said Jason Liberty, CEO of Royal Caribbean.

The value of the ship is around $2 billion.

These cruise ships, known as Quantum ships, use the latest technology but use environmentally friendly materials in their construction.

Icon of the Seas has 20 decks.

It has 6 water-skiing arenas, 7 swimming pools, a skating rink, a large cinema, 40 restaurants, several bars, children’s playgrounds, rest rooms, etc.

It has all the facilities to accommodate a maximum of 7,600 passengers and 2350 crew members.

Its 6 engines run on LNG fuel.

More than 50 musicians and comedy troupes and a large orchestra will entertain the passengers.

The ship was built in 900 days at the Turku shipyard in Finland.

It is noteworthy that the height of the Icon of the Seas is higher than the height of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the capital of France.
