The Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia Foundation, in collaboration with IMAIE, is providing financial assistance to aspiring actors. following a public tender, two students currently enrolled in the acting course at the National Film School will be awarded a contribution of €3,500 each in 2025.This funding aims to alleviate the financial burden of pursuing higher education in the performing arts.

Who Qualifies for the Grant?

Determining eligibility for these contributions involves specific criteria related to both residency and financial need. Students considered “off-site” – those residing 100 kilometers or more from the National Film School’s Rome headquarters – must demonstrate an ISEE (equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) of less than €40,000. “On-site” students, living within 100 kilometers of Rome, have a lower ISEE threshold of €30,000.

Beyond these financial requirements, the Foundation will prioritize applicants who maintain a good standing within the school. Specifically, students must not be subject to disciplinary actions beyond a verbal warning, be current with tuition payments (either annually or in quarterly installments), and not have received another scholarship from the National Film School during the 2024-2025 academic year.

Selection Process and Critically important Dates

What happens if multiple students have the same score? In the event of a tie, the student living furthest from the National Film School’s Rome headquarters will be given preference. The applicant’s income and financial situation will be verified through their 2025 ISEE certification, reflecting their family status.

Interested students must submit a specific request form, available with this notice, no later than December 31, 2025. Applications, along with all required documentation, should be sent via certified email to [email protected] with the subject line: “Contributions for the promotion of new IMAIE training.”
