In Hungary, a train collided with a vehicle and 7 people died, including the driver

Budapest:

A vehicle was trying to cross a railway crossing near the village of Kunbeherto in southern Hungary when it was hit by a speeding train.

Officials said that 7 people including the vehicle driver died in this accident. The train driver was hospitalized with minor injuries. However, no train passengers were injured, police said in a statement.

It is said that the rural railway crossing has no gate and no signal. Following the accident, the affected section of the railway line was closed, the Hungarian Railways said.
