In the Préfailles campsite (Loire-Atlantique), the rain does not stop swimming pool enthusiasts, Wednesday April 13. If tourists can’t enjoy the coastline, children have fun in the 28 degree water. “It’s not a problem. There is the swimming pool, and there are many things to visit around”comments a vacationer.
Valérie Lebeau, the manager of the campsite, keeps smiling: 70% of the mobile homes are rented, and it is full for the Easter weekend. “It’s a real pleasure, both for us and for the customers”, she says. For those who don’t want to get wet, the town of Pornic (Loire-Atlantique) is full of cultural activities, between earthenware workshops and the discovery of Saint-Michel galettes. It also has a rich heritage, including a majestic castle whose bricks were laid in the 10th century.
